As you become more of a professional investor, it cannot be stressed enough that you must start to develop the proper mindset that most millionaires have. The Millionaire Mindset starts with the discipline to be able to build yourself up, and begin taking self development seriously. This includes reading the right books, getting active, attending the seminars, hiring a coach and following positive influencers that have a positive impact in your life. More importantly, this means removing the negative influences in your life. Such as the neigh sayers, negative people, friends and families with limiting toxic beliefs, and bad habits in general.
You have to have the proper mindset when working on new business deals. You must always know the value that you bring to the table. Remember, you are there to help solve problems for people, and provide a solution to their situations. Everything that you do in this part of your business is going to be based on your confidence, and your ability to provide a real financial solution. Learning how to build trust and rapport with people will separate you from most average investors. Real successful investors understand their value and also understand the importance of being able to build trust. You want to be as confident as you can, and also always represent your company in the most professional manner.
When making deals, it is common for changes to arise during the process. Understanding how to approach certain situations with confidence will allow you to negotiate from a stronger standpoint. Do not hesitate on writing and submitting offers simply because you're new or inexperienced. Practice is key to building experience and experience is key to building confidence. It is not uncommon for investors to submit 20-30-40 offers before 1 gets accepted. Don't give up. Keep analyzing deals, continue to submit offers, continue to build rapport, continue to build relationships and most importantly, always follow up.
"Building an honest relationship with a client is invaluable when they feel you have their best interest at heart. It's not all about the dollar amount, or the money, it's all about the value of the relationship you have created." - Marco Chaidez
